Meet Nadine Durbach LCSW, BCD
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Diplomate
I’m Nadine Durbach, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Diplomate with more than 30 years of clinical experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and organizations.
My work often sits at the intersection of relationships, communication, aging, caregiving, chronic illness, sexuality, mental health, and the life transitions that rarely arrive one at a time. I help clients slow down what feels tangled, understand the patterns underneath it, and begin making more intentional choices in their relationships and daily lives.
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I offer a thoughtful, judgment-free space where clients can gain insight, strengthen communication, and work through the concerns that have become too difficult to keep carrying in the same way.
I’m especially drawn to working with individuals and couples navigating relationship strain, communication breakdowns, major transitions, caregiving, aging, illness, and the emotional weight of changing roles.

COUNSELING FOR YOU
POSITIVE IMPACT
Life has a way of changing the rules without asking permission. Relationships shift. Families change. Health concerns alter the rhythm of daily life. Responsibilities grow. The role you have always played may no longer fit the same way.
As a Clinical Social Worker, I help clients make sense of these changes, understand what's asking for attention, and develop more effective ways of moving through what comes next.
Therapy isn't about forcing a quick fix; it's about creating enough space and clarity to see the full picture, recognize your strengths, and make choices that feel more thoughtful and sustainable.
One of my favorite quotes is: “The more we have, the more we give. And the more we give, the more we have.” For me, therapy is one way of making more room for insight, connection, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are now.
THE PRACTICE
Working with me can help you identify the strengths and coping skills you already carry, while building new ways of understanding yourself and relating to others.
Together, we can work on communication, boundaries, recurring patterns, difficult decisions, emotional overwhelm, or the conversations that have felt too hard to begin.
Change rarely happens in one dramatic leap. More often, it is a bridge built through insight, honesty, and a series of steadier steps forward.
